Seattle collective FiNE MALT LYRiCS reunites after a brief absence as a collective to drop their first collaborative tape since March 2015’s Double Dose from WebbWavvy & FineMaltAstro, and their second collaborative tape as a full group since December 2012’s ultra rare and critically hard to find EP, FineMaltLyrics. This 10 track project features 6 brand new songs and 4 previously released, with “One Time”, “Servin'”, “All Of This Weight”, and “Alright” being latter.

Starting things off is Tre Ross being being joined by Jay Morrison on the smooth bounce of “Champagne”, which brings visions of the champagne emoji while listening. Next up is the lead single off of Astro’s up and coming project, the spacey, almost R’nB flavored auto tune of “Pipe Down”.

Making his return at the end of the summer, Ziggy Zay, brought us “All Of This Weight”, which proved to be a dark trap joint perfect for live performance. Following that up with part two is the cool head bob of “Plug Talk”, where Ziggy proclaims “lookin’ out the window, I wish I had a pack to sell”.

Next up is the Game Boy sampled sounds of “We The Type”, where Tre and Astro explain they’re just trying to fuck, not fall in love.

It’s nice to see FML back together in full form. Join them on January 19th  @ Throwbacks NW in Seattle, and celebrate this project & the release of Astro’s “Hyper-Active” debut.
