The Underground Queen herself, Amber London is back following a bit of a break after the release of her last project Hard 2 Find, with her two part album, Life II Death. While this is a bit of a step forward to the present from her archetypal 90’s sounding project, 1994 EP, fans who have been with the slow jam shawy will still be able to ride with her as she will never back away from the Phonk. Volume 2 of Life II Death, is due out shortly.
How Did You Choose The Title Of Your Project?
The title came from what I was going through at the time, I was in a real dark place but also embracing the changes of life. Also my previous mixtape have the number II or 2 in them so I wanted to keep that going.
Can You Explain The Story Behind The Artwork and Who Was The Desginer?
The artwork embodies the transition from life to death , the artist are Grind Fiend & Lynch Cassidy .
How Long Have You Been Working On This Project?
I’ve been working on it up until now so basically for months, but that’s my process.
Where Was It Recorded?
A lot of this project was recorded In Miami.

What Is Your Favorite Track?
That’s hard but probably “Be Careful” ft. Dough2x.

The most personal song for me is “Break Me Down”.
