Inside The Project: Wavy God “Plug Of The Year”

By: Carrick Wenke

Tacoma’s very own Wavy God makes an appropriate splash with his first official EP, Plug Of The Year. Produced entirely by madeintyo main producer K-Swisha, this is 5 tracks of pure bangers dropped just in time for summer. You might remember Wavy from his turnt up performances around the Seattle area, including with Steven Cannon (Steve’s homie Lil Xan appears on the album btw) and for his song/video “Rotation” that brought him in some nice numbers. I suggest you slap this project all the way through a few times because I predict you’ll be seeing his name around a lot more soon 🤘😎🤘

I chose the title of the mixtape when someone I was selling weed to called me the “plug of the year”. Originally was going to be called Pink Waves.

Can you explain the story behind your artwork and who is the designer?
The artwork is a play on me popping up and serving you, then I will “sink away” and pop back up somewhere else with cash. The designer was Graphicsbymel.
