How did you choose the title of your project?
In 2015 I dealt with a lot of personal convictions, depression, and loneliness which pushed me to grow mentally. But I still found myself in pieces. No direction. No emotion. Just here, broken. After I finished the track “Feeling Heavy”, the words just came to me and they stuck out. That’s how I choose.

Can you explain the story behind your artwork and who is the designer?
I am the designer and creator! I did a photo shoot with @GrindHardPeezy in downtown Seattle and took the photo from there. I stripped the background out, and added some color but I didn’t like looking at my eyes. It felt… awkward. So I put the strip on the eyes and put the eye in the area of the Pineal Gland to represent my awakening. Once the name came it was a wrap. I wanted it to be as artistic as possible yet simple and catchy. I think I did well.

How long have you been working on this project?
I worked on this project for a little over a year. I outsourced for all of the beats but it came together easier than I anticipated. I’ve had it done and complete since April of this year but chose the fall was best fir its release. Ahhhhh!

Where was it recorded?
This record was recorded in my home studio 53O VegasMade Productions in North Seattle.

Who are the producers?
Jahlil Beats, The Hit Kings, and the main producer Synesthetic Nation with 5 tracks on the project. Using those 808s and up tempo melodies they had some slappers! They definitely helped to shape the sound I knew I wanted to give out.

Who was featured?
There were no features on this project. I wanted to be able to present myself independently.

What was your favorite track?
“Words Gleamin”! It’s well written, recorded, and produced setting the tone for myself as an artist on the project. In the first track you hear me transition from poetic to melodic and from non aggressive to demanding. It’s a smooth track with some real lyrics.

Who would you like to thank for helping with this project?
My family for being by my side always. My label WePush Records and all of our affiliates and my entire East Side Las Vegas family. All day! And truly anyone whom I may have encountered since 2015 has helped shape my music and I’m truly grateful.
